This Privacy Policy explains how Baseline ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our web application at www.baseline.fitness.

Who we are

Baseline is operated by Samuel Mitchell, based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at samuel@baseline.fitness.

What information we collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — used to create and identify your account.
• First name — optionally provided by you to personalise the app. We do not collect this automatically from Google or any other sign-in provider.
• Workout data — workouts you generate or create, and any scores or results you log. This data is associated with your account so you can access it across sessions.

We do not collect payment information directly. If payment processing is introduced in future, it will be handled by a regulated third-party provider and this policy will be updated accordingly.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account.
• To save and display your workouts and logged scores.
• To personalise your experience (e.g. displaying your name).

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How we store your information

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Supabase is compliant with GDPR.

Your rights under UK GDPR

As a UK resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your account and all associated data.
• Right to restriction — you can ask us to limit how we use your data.
• Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format.

Cookies and tracking

We use a session token stored in your browser to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage.
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may collect data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• YouTube — exercise demonstration videos are embedded from YouTube. YouTube may collect data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — web hosting.

Children

Baseline is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
